Veterinarian & Board Certified Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon
Dr. Wade Gingerich
Dr. Gingerich was born and raised in South West Florida. He is a true native at heart and loves the outdoors. As the son of a veterinarian, Wade developed an interest for the welfare of animals at an early age and decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
After receiving his veterinary degree (DVM) from the University of Florida in 2003, Dr. Gingerich entered private practice for six years. During his time in general practice, Dr. Gingerich realized the need for increased levels of oral care for animals. In 2009, he returned to graduate school at the University of Minnesota and entered a three-year residency in dentistry and oral surgery. In 2012, Dr. Gingerich successfully completed the residency and passed a rigorous three-day examination to become a diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (DAVDC).
After spending seven years in the Midwest, Dr. Gingerich decided to return to Florida to provide exceptional oral care for companion animals in the community where he grew up. He opened Pet Dental Center in 2013 and his compassion for all animals and the bond they share with their caregivers is evident in his daily practices. This has transcended into the trusting and caring relationships he has with all his clients and their pets.
Veterinarian & Board Certified Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon
Dr. Jessica Mack Wilson
Dr. Mack is originally from Emmaus, Pennsylvania. As a child, she always wanted to be a Veterinarian, even participating in 4H programs with her family Veterinarian and the local zoo. She was lured to the sunny South to attend the University of Tampa for her undergraduate studies and spent a little time after University working and learning in a small animal clinic, equine surgery practice and the Lowry Park Zoo. Dr. Mack attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and received her veterinary degree (DVM) and a degree in public health (MPH) in 2011. She then entered rural mixed animal practice in North Carolina, where she cared for dogs, cats, horses, cows and everything in between! She realized her interest in Veterinary Dentistry and decided to pursue this further through a specialty internship in dentistry and oral surgery. She loved the science and art involved in veterinary dentistry and went on to complete a 3-year residency at a private practice in Matthews, North Carolina.
Dr. Mack was excited to return to Florida in July of 2020 and join Dr. Gingerich and the team at PDC. While working with our team, Dr. Mack completed the rigorous examination process to become a diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (DAVDC) and a board certified Veterinary Dentist. When not at PDC, Dr. Mack enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband, three young children and a rambunctious German Short Hair Pointer named Elsa.
We are extremely happy to have Dr. Mack onboard and know that you will enjoy your warm, thorough communications with her while she cares for your pets!

Dr. Crystal Reep
Dr. Crystal Reep obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in veterinary technology from Fort Valley State University in 2014 prior to earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in 2021. She then completed her rotating small animal medicine internship at Florida Veterinary Referral Center in Estero, Florida in 2022. During that time, she completed a month long rotation here at PDC! Dr. Reep then moved back to Tennessee where she worked as a general practitioner but she just couldn’t stop thinking about dentistry and her time at PDC! 😉 She truly enjoys dentistry, the human-animal bond and client education. This is ultimately what lead her to the decision to begin the rigorous process of a residency in dentistry & oral surgery. She came back to PDC in June of 2023 and is currently in her first year as a mentee under Dr. Gingerich. Dr. Reep’s residency program will prepare her to take the board examination for becoming a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist in the coming years. We are beyond excited to be a part of her journey and watch her grow into that role!

Client Care Specialist & Certified Veterinary Assistant
Ashton
Ashton was born and raised in Indiana. She grew up on a farm where she cared for her dogs, cats and horses! She has always had a passion for animals and started volunteering at the local humane society at 16. When she was a senior in high school, Ashton became a Certified Veterinary Assistant through the AVMA! She then attended Harrison College in Indianapolis and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology.
Ashton moved to Florida in 2015 and continued her career in Veterinary Medicine. There was a 7-year-old Yorky she met while working at a previous job that’s owner had been saying was “slowing down” and “not acting himself”. Ashton helped discover that the owner had not learned about oral care for her pet and the pet was in desperate need of a dental procedure. She was so happy when the owner came back after the procedure and reported that her fur baby was “Like a new dog! Who plays more now and is no longer having trouble eating his food.” She is excited to help educate other pet owners on the importance of oral healthcare and the benefits it can provide their pets!
We are so happy to have Ashton on our team at Pet Dental Center. She is an all around team player and we absolutely love that about her! We do have to share her with her husband in between their beach days and searching for shark teeth, but we’re ok with that. She is always smiling and likes to laugh, which you will quickly learn when you talk to her on the phone or meet her upon your arrival.

Veterinary Technician
Taylor
Taylor grew up in Connecticut and moved to Florida in 2015. Her love for animals lead to her enrollment in a veterinary technician program soon after arriving in Florida and she graduated from Heritage Institute in 2016. Taylor started her career in emergency medicine as a surgical technician but it was when she began working at a general practice that she found a passion for dental procedures! When Taylor came onboard at PDC, she completed her training as a dental technician and although she enjoys that role, she truly enjoys providing anesthesia support as well! Therefore she is currently completing her training to be able to fulfill an anesthetist role at PDC as well. Taylor’s main priority is making sure that our patients get the right care and what they need as an individual during procedures.
Her “zoo” (as she calls it) keeps her very busy when she is not at work! This includes three dogs (Eevee, Luna and Jack) and three cats (Shane, Thor and Bradley). In between caring for them she enjoys being outdoors, reading and spending time with her family.
