Veterinarian & Board Certified Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon
Dr. Wade Gingerich
Dr. Gingerich was born and raised in South West Florida. He is a true native at heart and loves the outdoors. As the son of a veterinarian, Wade developed an interest for the welfare of animals at an early age and decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
After receiving his veterinary degree (DVM) from the University of Florida in 2003, Dr. Gingerich entered private practice for six years. During his time in general practice, Dr. Gingerich realized the need for increased levels of oral care for animals. In 2009, he returned to graduate school at the University of Minnesota and entered a three-year residency in dentistry and oral surgery. In 2012, Dr. Gingerich successfully completed the residency and passed a rigorous three-day examination to become a diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (DAVDC).
After spending seven years in the Midwest, Dr. Gingerich decided to return to Florida to provide exceptional oral care for companion animals in the community where he grew up. His compassion for all animals and the bond they share with their caregivers is evident in his daily practices. This has transcended into the trusting and caring relationships he has with all his clients and their pets.

Veterinarian, Practice Limited to Dentistry & Oral Surgery
Dr. Jessica Mack Wilson
Dr. Mack is originally from Emmaus, Pennsylvania. As a child, she always wanted to be a Veterinarian, even participating in 4H programs with her family Veterinarian and the local zoo. She was lured to the sunny South to attend the University of Tampa for her undergraduate studies and spent a little time after University working and learning in a small animal clinic, equine surgery practice and the Lowry Park Zoo. Dr. Mack attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and received her veterinary degree (DVM) and a degree in public health (MPH) in 2011. She then entered rural mixed animal practice in North Carolina, where she cared for dogs, cats, horses, cows and everything in between! She realized her interest in Veterinary Dentistry and decided to pursue this further through a specialty internship in dentistry and oral surgery. She loved the science and art involved in veterinary dentistry and went on to complete a 3-year residency at a private practice in Matthews, North Carolina. Dr. Mack successfully conquered phase one of her final exam and will be sitting for phase two later this year. She has specialized in dentistry for many years, but we are very proud and are honored to sit along side and cheer her on as she earns the title of “board certified”.
Dr. Mack was excited to return to Florida in July of 2020 and join Dr. Gingerich and the team at PDC. She relocated to Florida with her husband, young daughter and two spunky dogs- Tripoli and Matilda. Since moving, she and her family have welcomed twin boys! They are excited to experience all South Florida has to offer. We are extremely happy to have Dr. Mack onboard and know that you will enjoy your warm, thorough communications with her while she cares for your pets.
Danielle has been the Practice Manager at PDC since 2015 and helped it through many stages of growth! She is originally from Dayton, Ohio but spent a lot of time on Ft. Myers Beach with her family growing up. This is what lead her to moving to the area in 2005. Prior to working in veterinary medicine, Danielle worked in the beauty industry as a hair stylist and educator. She attended Aveda Frederic’s Institute in Cincinnati where she completed a cosmetology program in addition to a salon management program prior to earning certifications in each. Danielle feels there is so much to gain by working closely with people and learning about all the different paths and experiences they’ve had in life. Her client care expertise and love for anything business allows her to to wear many hats within Pet Dental Center! She enjoys attending continued education so that she can surround herself with the newest information in regards to managing veterinary medical facilities. Danielle came to know PDC the same way most of you have, as a client! She strives to make your experiences with your loved ones as positive, warm and as thorough as possible. It’s important to her that our team and guests feel taken care of.
When not at PDC, Danielle spends a lot of time volunteering at anywhere from the library, to beach clean up, to her church. She then enjoys being outdoors with her husband and son (especially on the water), cooking from scratch (the way her mom and great grandmother taught her) and using her creative side to dabble in interior design. She is also totally fine with an occasional “Netflix and chill” day with her pups, Ginger and Jada!
Client Care Specialist & Certified Veterinary Assistant
Ashton was born and raised in Indiana. She grew up on a farm where she cared for her dogs, cats and horses! She has always had a passion for animals and started volunteering at the local humane society at 16. When she was a senior in high school, Ashton became a Certified Veterinary Assistant through the AVMA! She then attended Harrison College in Indianapolis and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology.
Ashton moved to Florida in 2015 and continued her career in Veterinary Medicine. There was a 7-year-old Yorky she met while working at a previous job that’s owner had been saying was “slowing down” and “not acting himself”. Ashton helped discover that the owner had not learned about oral care for her pet and the pet was in desperate need of a dental procedure. She was so happy when the owner came back after the procedure and reported that her fur baby was “Like a new dog! Who plays more now and is no longer having trouble eating his food.” She is excited to help educate other pet owners on the importance of oral healthcare and the benefits it can provide their pets!
We are so happy to have Ashton on our team at Pet Dental Center. She is an all around team player and we absolutely love that about her! We do have to share her with her husband in between their beach days and searching for shark teeth, but we’re ok with that. She is always smiling and likes to laugh, which you will quickly learn when you talk to her on the phone or meet her upon your arrival.

Veterinary Anesthesia Technician, CVT
Carlee has lived in southwest Florida since she was 11 years old. She moved with her family to Texas for a short stint but found her way back to the sunshine state and we are so glad she did! Carlee had been working in veterinary medicine for four years prior to joining the PDC team. She worked in two general practices and also attended Heritage Institute where she graduated with her Associates Degree in Veterinary Science. Carlee saw the positive impact that dentistry made on patients while working in general care and wanted to know more about the specialty side of veterinary medicine. It was only fitting that she begin working and growing with a veterinary dentistry practice! Since Carlee has began working at PDC, she has acquired her CVT (woot, woot!) and is continuing to grow in SO many ways. We love Carlee’s inquisitive mindset and the amazing questions it prompts her to ask! She is most interested in becoming a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia and we are excited to watch her grow into that title! When she worked with a doctor in Texas on both large and small animals, he helped her understand the value of continued education and what a crucial component it will be in her career path.
Carlee has two beautiful children at home that give her a dose of being both a boy mom and a girl mom. They enjoy spending time in the sun and loving on their one-eyed Boston Terrier, Trixy!

In addition to working with exotics, Jessica has had experience in general practice as well as emergency and critical care over the last 4 years. During her time working in the emergency field is when she fell in love with surgery and anesthesia. She is passionate about giving animals the best care which has led her to start the path of becoming specialized in the field of anesthesia. Jessica fulfills the role of an Anesthesia Technician at PDC and feels being on our team will aid in helping her to achieve her goal of becoming a VTS in anesthesia. Veterinary Anesthesia Technician, CVT, LVT
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Chelsea now calls Fort Myers her home and has enjoyed serving this community’s pets and owners for over 5 years. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Grand Valley State University in 2014, she initially got into emergency veterinary medicine as a fulfilling part-time job…and she was instantly hooked! Chelsea continued to work in emergency department and ICU until moving to Florida in 2016, where she transitioned her focus to specialty surgery and anesthesia. Since then, Chelsea has gained years of experience with all different types of pets and the individual medical needs that they bring along. She enjoys connecting with pet owners and believes in increasing familiarity and education with anesthesia and how it affects your pet individually. No matter if your fur-babies have a medical diagnosis or are just “in their golden years,” Chelsea takes pride in providing the highest quality care and loves collaborating along with her brilliant doctors and fellow nurses to ensure each patient’s needs are met. We were very excited to welcome Chelsea into the PDC team in 2021 and are even more excited to be along side her as she continues to follow her passion for her patients by pursuing her VTS in anesthesia.
In her free time, Chelsea spends time unwinding playing video games and catching up on some reading (currently she is reading The Wheel of Time series), and trying out the latest craft brews! She and her boyfriend enjoy spoiling their pit bull, Asha, and her two kitty-sisters, Boo and Newt. Their most unusual pet is Rhaeyna, a desert-dwelling “living dinosaur” known as a Uromastyx!
